BirdNotes – 10 Feb 2017 – carvings and birds

The local Art Show is scheduled for Sunday, March 19 at the Hotel Palmas de Cortez in Los Barriles. Hours are 10 to 4. I have signed up for a spot and hope that all of you can visit my table. I am anxious to meet many of you who are just names on my email list. A chance to talk and perhaps you’ll buy a carving.

BirdNotes – 9 Feb 2017 – blossoms and birds

Beautiful warm day with a little wind. Temps got up to mid-seventies, morning clouds burned off late morning … all in all a “another shitty day in paradise”. Finished the last of the carving projects (6 small seahorses, a flying osprey with a fish in his talons and a perched male cardinal). When I got all the pieces varnished, I grabbed the camera for some photos.

Been busy carving so haven’t shared much lately. Lots of the common birds around, just haven’t fired up the camera. Have two or three more carving projects and then I’ll be onto birds again.
