This morning I was filming birds at the hummer feeder. This feeder attracted a male Hooded Oriole. He was drinking away when a female drove him from the feeder.

Spent an hour at the feeder photographing hummers, now have five different hummers feeding; a   young Costa’s, an adult male Costa’s and a adult female, the same holds for the three Xantus hummers.

Found three different Xantus’ hummers at the feeder this morning, an immature (shown above) a female and an adult male. The immature male is probably 2 or 3 months old…

Started birding at about 0700 and finished the last shot at 0834. In about an hour and a half I took over 480 photos. Weeded this down to 19. Light was bad….
